Cornwall is famous for its beaches and coastline. So it would a shame to visit the county and not be near the beach. One of the popular beaches in north Cornwall is Widemouth Bay, popular with families and surfers; and at low tide there are rock pools for the nippers to explore.

You'll find Widemouth Bay 3 miles south of Bude, and is the perfect location to learn surfing or body-boarding. There are plenty of surf schools are based around the bay (have a look at Raven Surf, Outdoor Adventure and Freewave if learning to surf is up your street). Widemouth Bay has also received the coverted Blue Flag Beach Award 2017.

3 miles along the coast from Widemouth Bay you have Bude. Either drive from Widemouth Bay, or walk along the South West Coastal Path; Bude was named Best UK Coastal Resort three years running. With beaches, pubs, restaurants and cafes, Bude makes a lovely place to spend a summer day.

The cottages at Quinceborough Farm consist of Goose Cottage, The Roost, Goose Cottage, Driftwood, Squire Cottage, Mucklows Cottage, Barn Cottage. All the cottages are on this 120-acre working farm, and sleep either 4, 5 or 6 people.

You'll find a games room in the grounds of Quinceborough Farm, with table tennis, a pool table and air-hockey available. There is a children's play area and a tennis court. You even have an outdoor swimming pool for the summer months.

The cottages allow your pet to holiday with you too, so should you fancy walks along the South West Coastal Path to Bude, with your dog, this is the place to come!
